Voor EEMJAZZ, ons feestelijk en zonodig fluisterzacht spelend kwintet is SWING (It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing) altijd de hoofdmoot gebleven. Daarbij kwamen al gauw standards (Comes Love, Getting Some Fun Out Of Life), ballads (Miss Brown to You, I Can’t Believe that You’re in love with Me) en latin (London Is The Place For Me, Shame And Scandal In The Family, The Coffee Song). Verder valt de keus op werkelijk alles wat wij, bandleden, leuk vinden om te spelen en te zingen. Zo laten wij ons ook inspireren door: Fats Domino (Blueberry Hill), Louis Prima (Jamabalaya, Buona Sera), The Everly Brothers (Bye Bye Love), Guy Mitchell (Singing The Blues), Madeleine Peyroux (J’ai Deux Amours, Dance Me to the End Of Love, Walking After Midnight), Marilyn Monroe (I Wanna be Loved By You) Franse chansons: (For me, Formidable, ’Est si Bon, C’Est Magnifique) en Les Paul and Mary Ford (Johnny is the Boy for Me).
